Duties

Help

Major duties include but not limited to:

• Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising staff education.
• Delivers a fundamental understanding of adult learning principles and a lifelong learner that can practice with flexibility to adapt or change learning strategies based on the assessment of learning needs within the healthcare organization.
• Functions as a formal and informal educator and/or mentor; serving as a liaison between internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities by providing scholarship education sessions for applicants and guides them related to growing nursing services and professional practice.
• Promotes a learning environment that embraces new knowledge, innovations, and improvements for both scholarships and affiliations. Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Core elements of performance include knowledge and active participation in the department level quality improvement process and initiatives as well as customer service programs.
• Influences outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex situations.

Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
