Head of International Distrubution

Fuego is redefining footwear built for dance, athletics, and streetwear — where style, performance, and comfort meet in every step. Born out of dance culture and forged on dance floors around the world, Fuego has grown into a global lifestyle brand, sold direct-to-consumer and through select retailers in 120+ countries. The Role We're looking for a Head of International Distribution to build and lead Fuego's global distributor network across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America . This is a deal‑making, relationship‑building role — you'll identify the right retail and distribution partners in each market, negotiate and structure agreements, and drive sustainable, profitable growth in markets where Fuego doesn't yet have a strong wholesale footprint. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Sales, and Product team to ensure distribution strategy aligns with brand positioning, product assortment, and pricing — and you’ll be the face of Fuego to partners across these markets. What You’ll Do Develop and execute Fuego's international distribution strategy across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, with a roadmap for sequencing and expansion across priority markets over time Lead outreach, pitch, and negotiation with prospective distributors — from first contact through signed agreement Structure commercial terms including minimum order quantities, pricing/margin structures, territory rights, marketing co‑investment, and performance targets Negotiate and finalize distribution agreements in partnership with legal counsel, protecting Fuego's brand standards, trademark, and long‑term interests Navigate market‑specific considerations: import/export requirements, customs and duty structures, local regulatory or certification requirements Support distribution planning as Fuego expands beyond footwear into apparel and accessories, ensuring partners can grow with the brand across categories over time What You Bring 7+ years of experience in international sales, business development, or distributor management in footwear or apparel Proven track record structuring and closing distribution/partnership agreements in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and/or Latin American markets Deep understanding of wholesale/distribution economics — margin structures, MOQs, terms, exclusivity, and territory management Strong commercial instincts paired with the discipline to protect brand positioning and long‑term partner quality over short‑term volume Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis Excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional language proficiency is a strong plus given target markets Nice to Have Existing relationships with sneaker, streetwear, or lifestyle footwear distributors/retailers in Europe, Asia-Pacific, or Latin America Experience launching a footwear or apparel brand into new international markets from scratch Background working alongside a lean, founder‑led team where you’ll build process as you go #J-18808-Ljbffr Fuego
