Serving 4th-6th graders in a cross-categorical, self-contained classroom (class size: 14; supported by two paraprofessionals and an individual aide), you’ll play a key role in fostering growth among students with disabilities such as ID, OHI, Autism, SLD, and TBI. Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teacher certification (state eligibility required)
• Experience in self-contained and/or cross-categorical classroom settings preferred
• Familiarity with disabilities such as ID, OHI, Autism, SLD, and TBI
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet individual education plans
• Lead a positive, inclusive learning environment for students in grades 4–6
• Partner with two classroom paraprofessionals and an individual aide to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate data, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster strong relationships with students, families, and school staff
