TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/16/2026 Duration: 20 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel UNIT: ICU MANAGER INTERVIEW Required Certs: Must have current IL license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience: Must have 2 years of ICU experience, prefer 3. 1 travel assignment required. Float Requirement: if needed, would float to step down level care On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A Weekend/Holiday Requirement: every other weekend/every other holiday rotation Ratios (ICU: 2:1, Stepdown: 3:1) Skillset: REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/EKG interpretation (will take an exam first day), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol. Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! PREFERRED: tPa administration/assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont). Unit Information: 18 beds. Patients are a mix of ICU and step-down level of care. Does charge nurse take patients? YES Unit Strengths: has a good core group of staff.
