Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to mothers and healthy newborns on the Mother Baby unit
- Monitor maternal and neonatal status; perform assessments, administer medications, and manage postpartum and newborn care plans
- Support lactation, patient education, and discharge planning to promote positive outcomes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; document care in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy; respond promptly to clinical changes and emergencies
- Provide family-centered care, including teaching and support for newborn care and maternal recovery

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby RN experience
- AHA BLS certification; NRP required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Must be available to work the holiday schedule per policy: two major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (e.g., the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
- No locals within 50 miles of the assignment location
