Become a part of our history as it continues to be written! If you are interested and qualified for this role, we invite you to apply.The Managing Director, Yellow Cardinal Investment Banking will be responsible for sourcing new engagements and leading the execution of various projects.Essential Functions/ResponsibilitiesIdentify potential new clientsLead the “pitch” proposal process to secure new engagementsNegotiate the terms of engagement letters including the fee structureManage/lead the execution of engagementsMaintain/build a network of business owners and referral sourcesDevelop and cultivate relationships with potential buyers including Family Offices, Private Equity Groups, private companies and entrepreneursAssist other team members in analyzing opportunities and executing transactionsProvide input on CIM’s and other project related materialsMinimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the JobBachelors degree; Masters preferred5+ years of Investment Banking/Wealth Management/Business Succession experience preferred.Strong Accounting background/knowledgeKnowledge of Corporate Finance including Discounted Cash Flow modelingAbove average communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to deliver messages in a straightforward and respectful mannerNegotiating skillsAbility to “read the room” and skillfully respond to complex situationsAbility to articulate complex topics to a variety of audiencesWillingness to be available to clients on an almost 24/7 basisPreferred Knowledge and SkillsLevel of Complexity and ScopeHighly complexDegree of Independence and Decision-MakingUses subject matter expertise to make independent decisions and advise others.Works with minimal supervisonRequired Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNo direct supervisory responsibilities, but will be asked to mentor and assist less experienced staff.Physical RequirementsLong periods of desk/computer workStanding, Seeing, Hearing, Speaking, Lifting, DrivingTravel as neededAvailable to assist clients during non traditional working hoursCompliance StatementThe associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures.
