Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy.

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required by Idaho.

• Minimum 2 years experience as a radiation therapist.

• Experience operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment.

• Experience positioning patients and ensuring proper immobilization during treatment.

• Experience verifying treatment plans and dosage with the oncology team.

• Experience documenting treatments and maintaining accurate patient records.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient radiation oncology setting.

• Prior experience working within a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Assignment Details

• M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• 36-40 hours per week.
• No call, no holidays.
• High possibility to extend after initial assignment.

Impacting Patient Care

Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment to deliver precise treatments. Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization. Verify treatment plans and dosages in collaboration with radiation oncologists and the interdisciplinary team. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy. Document treatments and maintain accurate, timely patient records to support continuity of care.
