Position Overview

Paragon Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to fill full-time positions within our online community health clinic. Ideal candidates will be licensed professionals (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) who are eager to contribute to patient care in a remote setting. This role allows therapists to make a meaningful impact on individuals struggling with various mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver effective therapeutic support.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing therapists to conduct sessions from the comfort of their homes while reaching clients across various demographics. Our technology-driven practice utilizes Telehealth platforms, ensuring seamless communication and engagement with patients. Flexibility in scheduling is important, with work hours mainly set from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but may adjust based on the needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct exhaustive mental health assessments to establish patient needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective interventions.
  • Lead psychoeducational sessions and support groups that encourage peer interaction and skill development in managing mental health issues.
  • Work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for each patient.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when clients face acute mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Educate clients about their mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings and case consultations to promote a culture of collaboration and continual learning.
  • Stay informed on advancements in mental health treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients present a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. As a therapist, your role will involve working with individuals, couples, and families to address these concerns in a supportive and non-judgmental setting. Building rapport with a diverse population is key, and your sensitivity to varying backgrounds and experiences will enhance the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and effective therapeutic modalities.
  • Demonstrated competence in conducting assessments and crafting meaningful treatment plans.
  • Experience delivering therapy to individuals and groups from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building positive client relationships.
  • Ability to adhere to ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology for remote therapy.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a community health or outpatient psychiatric setting.
  • Background in providing group therapy or psychoeducational workshops.
  • Additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic approaches or modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
