Our Toddler Lead Teachers help children build language, independence, social-emotional skills, and confidence through hands‑on learning and consistent daily routines. You'll lead your classroom while working closely with families, fellow teachers, and center leadership. What You'll Do Lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging toddler classroom Implement developmentally appropriate activities and our L.E.A.P. Curriculum Encourage language development, independence, movement, and social-emotional growth Support meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and classroom transitions Provide consistent routines and positive behavior guidance Observe children's development and celebrate important milestones Maintain required classroom documentation Build strong, professional relationships with families Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers Follow applicable New York City childcare regulations Qualifications Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education required Previous toddler, daycare, preschool, or early childhood teaching experience preferred Lead classroom experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices Patient, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Strong communication and classroom management skills Must meet applicable New York City childcare requirements What We Offer $20–$24 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Full-time Monday–Friday schedule Paid training and professional development Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching team Opportunities for continued professional growth #J-18808-Ljbffr The Learning Experience - Hell’s Kitchen
