Job Title: Clinical Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Full-Time

Job Summary

The Centeno-Schultz Clinic is seeking a dedicated, full-time Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to support our advanced interventional Ortho biologics practice. This clinical role balances day-to-day patient preparation with vital procedure assistance, utilizing your emergency training to ensure patient safety and comfort during advanced regenerative treatments.

• Clinic Hours : Open Monday through Friday only.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay : $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Patient Intake : Room patients efficiently, gather brief medical histories, and check/record vital signs.
• EHR Documentation : Navigate and maintain detailed, accurate patient charting through our Electronic Health Record system.
• Procedure Preparation : Manage and document the informed consent process for scheduled procedures.
• Intravenous Access : Initiate and monitor IV starts required for clinical procedures.

Opportunities for Professional Growth

• Advanced Lab Work : Learn and perform specialized phlebotomy and blood drawing for regenerative tissue processing.
• Post-Operative Care : Expand into the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to monitor and safely recover patients following conscious sedation.

Required Qualifications

• Credential : Active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
• IV Certification : State-approved IV certification is highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support : Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Skills : Strong venipuncture technique, high-level multitasking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
