Key Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist regarding patient status and plan of care updates

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA certification through NBCOT
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA in Michigan
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
