Blending Operator

The Blending Operator assists the Blending department in preparing and blending products to meet quality standards. Responsibilities Loading the blending machine with correct amounts of raw source product based upon expected total output quantity and blend percentage of each source product. Running the blender to achieve proper blend consistency and distribution. Using small tools such as scoops, hand sifters, and sealing devices. Unloading blended products into appropriate bulk containers. Reporting broken glass to Quality Control. Maintaining allergen control procedures. Washing and cleaning machine equipment. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and using other cleaning methods (degrease, sanitizer, scrapers) as needed, with special attention to allergens. Ensuring all cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools are removed from the machine before its next use. Ensuring all products meet company quality standards. Qualifications Able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Stand or walk for extended periods, bend, push, pull, scoop, reach, and grasp as required. Move, roll, and weigh a barrel of spices. Work with a variety of spices and aromas. Schedule First shift, Monday - Friday 6 am‑2 pm. Ability to work overtime as needed. Cross‑training between departments as needed. Benefits & Pay Full‑time benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, employee discount, and more.
