About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of emergency room experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice Certifications: Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor Active BLS certification from an approved vendor Active PALS certification from an approved vendor Active TNCC certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI No hits on state license to practice Candidate driver's license to verify residency Description: Navy scrubs required. Must be flexible in floating between facilities. Candidates should be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Requests for time off cannot exceed 7 days and there is no time off during the first week of assignment. Candidates should list all facilities they are willing to work in. All shifts and departments they are experienced in should also be specified. Candidates submitted must be pre-closed and ready to accept the position. Immediate notification is required if the candidate withdraws or is no longer available. All candidates must adhere to background check standards. A complete cover page is required. Resumes should detail all facilities, departments worked in, trauma level designation, and number of beds. An ER skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months. Active licenses to practice must be verified in the last 30 days. Driver's license is required for residency verification. Travel experience is highly preferred.
