# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Texas**Start Date:** September 28, 2026 **Location:** Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, 36 guaranteed hours per week**Highlights:**- 13-week assignment in a 23-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratios- Level IV trauma center with Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Accreditation with PCI (STEMI 24/7)- Standard emergency procedures including advanced stroke and cardiac care protocols- Meditech documentation system utilized- All-RN nursing staff with dedicated technical and clerical support- No call requirements**Requirements:**- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required- BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required- TNCC and NIHSS certifications required- Meditech experience preferred- Royal blue scrubs required; professional appearance standards maintained**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work in a comprehensive emergency care environment where you'll care for a diverse patient population including trauma, stroke, and cardiac emergencies.
