Insights Analyst

Our client seeks a part-time Insights Analyst to support sustainability and impact reporting. The role will focus on dashboard data collection and governance, executive reporting and storytelling, operational coordination, process improvement, and adoption of metrics across the enterprise. The analyst will write SQL queries, coordinate stakeholders, maintain KPI documentation, and help demonstrate impact through clear narratives and reports.

Rate: $30.00 to $35.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Support dashboard data collection and governance, representing CSR during data refresh activities with business data owners.
• Track data points for new dashboard additions and maintain documentation of KPIs, data sources, and reporting requirements.
• Support executive reporting and storytelling through summaries highlighting key insights, trends, and business impacts.
• Assist with presentations, leadership updates, board materials, and impact reporting.
• Facilitate recurring dashboard working groups and stakeholder meetings, owning process documentation and governance activities.
• Manage action items, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up communications.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, validation, and workflows.
• Document and test AI-enabled solutions for data summarization, stakeholder communication, and process automation.
• Recommend enhancements to improve data quality, user experience, and efficiency.
• Assist with onboarding new metrics, business areas, and strategic initiatives based on best practices and priorities.
• Gather stakeholder feedback, prioritize enhancements, and monitor dashboard utilization to increase engagement.
• Write SQL queries and use SQL tools to access, summarize, manipulate, and capture member, claim, provider, and other stakeholder data.
• Develop new reports and templates using reporting tools and data mining techniques.
• Provide programming support to extract and analyze data from enterprise systems.
• Monitor and analyze utilization, quality, and expense data to identify improvement areas.
• Identify trends and conduct problem-solving analyses to support decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and maintain data quality control processes and recommend improvements.
• Serve as point of contact for audit processes and procedures.
• Suggest procedural changes to meet reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain documented processes to generate reports and related materials.
• Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Represent the department on project teams and process optimization efforts, including analysis, interviews, procedure design, documentation, and implementation.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and provide user support for ad hoc reporting and problem resolution.
• Maintain a departmental inventory of queries, consolidate duplicates, and promote production-grade reporting with single-source repositories and execution guidelines.
• Collaborate with customers to complete needs analyses and provide analytic support.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a related field, including SQL query development and reporting.
• Experience with project coordination, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Background in data governance, data quality controls, and audit readiness.
• Experience communicating insights through storytelling and executive-ready materials.
• Exposure to sustainability and impact measurement preferred.
• Demonstrated process improvement and innovation mindset, including familiarity with AI-enabled tooling for summarization and automation.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of related experience.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
