Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment across a broad range of surgical service lines
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for procedures including general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Maintain a minimum skill level of 3 or higher in Joint, Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular — no exceptions
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic health record system
• Adhere to a variable schedule including on-call responsibilities as required
• Float to other departments as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Skill level of 3 or higher in Joint, Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular is mandatory — no exceptions
• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity or Level II trauma center setting
• Comfort with variable scheduling and on-call assignments in a fast-paced OR environment
