Sr. Accountant

Location: Tulsa, OK Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $80,000-$110,000 Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger activities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Oversee payroll and benefits accounting, ensuring accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
• Handle lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842/IFRS 16
• Track and manage capital projects, including capitalization and depreciation
• Support SOX compliance through documentation and internal control processes
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances
• Maintain and validate financial data within consolidation systems
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and support audit and reporting requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of general ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience with SAP and manufacturing accounting is a plus
• Strong Excel and accounting systems proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
