Make an impact in education by providing essential physical therapy services to students across grade levels in a dynamic school-based setting. This full-time contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, with immediate start through June 2027. You’ll work Monday through Friday, providing care to a diverse K-12 caseload and collaborating with supportive interdisciplinary teams throughout the district.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut
• Experience working in pediatric, educational, or school-based settings preferred
• Ability to develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans for students
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Comfort working across K-12 grade levels; adaptable to multiple school sites within the district
• In-person availability throughout the assignment (remote/virtual service is not an option)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, hands-on physical therapy services to students who qualify for support through IEPs or 504 plans
• Evaluate and assess student motor skills and physical function
• Develop customized intervention plans to enhance students’ participation in school activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff for holistic student support
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and interdisciplinary planning sessions
