Job Description:
Must have ETL design experience. They need to have designed ETL, process and architecture, ER Studio, Data modeling etc. What the manager is focused on is the ETL design experience and strong data modeling.

Qualifications:

• Computer or Information Science or equivalent field
• DAMA Data certifications a plus
• 10+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
• Experience in Commercial Finance domain, and worked on atleast 2 projects and understand critical domain terminology.
• Proficient in Data Lineage / Modeling tools (ER Studio). Informatica toolsets including Data Archive, EDC, Oracle database.
• Expert understanding of Data Warehouse design for high volume processing and performance.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools utilization including Tableau, and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Bachelors or Master's degree specialized in areas related to Information and Data management and Design.
• 10 years of deep data modeling and architecture experience
• Data modeling, Data lineage, Data standards
• In addition to other duties/functions, this position requires full commitment and support for promoting ethical and compliant culture.
• More specifically, this position requires integrity, honesty, and respectful treatment of others, as well as a willingness to speak up when they see misconduct or have concerns.
• Experienced in working with different data modeling techniques including dimensional, data vault.
• Experienced in working with Azure SQL Server, and must be aware of Datawarehouse and Data lake concepts thoroughly.
• Experience in Databricks, ADF is preferable.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enforce data models and naming standards across all deliverables. Reverse and forward engineer Business legacy data models.
• Effectively communicate the technical data integration requirements, design, and decisions that support the functional needs of Data Engineering to both IT and Business members via verbal or documentation.
• Reduce data redundancy consolidation, transformation, and training of Business and IT members.
• Design and develop data lineage with / without pre-existing documentation.
• Create and maintain current and target state data integration models and flows.
• Reverse and Forward engineer Business data models to the level needed for business Analytics usage.
• Develop an understanding of Business processes and the corresponding system architecture in order to determine Source system(s) of required data, data relationships, and impacted integrations.
• Partner with the Business Intelligence teams in defining the end state reporting goals and/or dashboard requirements.
• Design and develop Data models and solutions required to meet them.
• Ensure Design documentation includes appropriate Business rules and facilitates data Security, Quality, Lineage, and Harmonization.
• Support testing and deployment activities as required.
• Assist in developing and then meet agreed-upon deadlines and perform other project duties as assigned. Single point of contact for data related questions, and quality.
• Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in writing. Present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and/or oral presentations to both Business and IT Teams.
