Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Our client is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join its finance leadership team in Foothill Ranch, California. This is a high-visibility role at the center of the company's financial decision-making, responsible for owning the full planning and forecasting cycle, delivering actionable analysis to senior leadership, and serving as a trusted financial partner to department heads across the organization. The Manager will report directly to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will work closely with the CFO on inventory risk, margin analysis, and strategic business decisions. The role spans the full breadth of FP&A - from consolidated P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet forecasting to multi-year scenario modeling, KPI development, and private equity stakeholder reporting. It is an opportunity for a finance professional who combines rigorous analytical capability with the communication skills to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insight. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of progressive FP&A experience in a manufacturing or product-oriented business, comfort operating within a private equity-backed environment, and the drive to continuously improve the tools, processes, and culture of the finance function.
