Executive Director, Patient Experience

Amgen seeks an Executive Director to establish and lead the Patient Experience Center of Excellence within Patient Access & Reimbursement. The role involves developing strategy, leading a team of patient experience leaders, and aligning brand priorities with access and reimbursement capabilities to improve patient and provider journeys across multiple therapeutic portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Establish vision, strategy, and operating model for the Patient Experience Center of Excellence aligned with enterprise and portfolio needs
• Lead and develop a team of Patient Experience leaders with clear expectations, priorities, and accountability
• Serve as senior PAR partner to brand leadership across respiratory, cardiovascular, oncology, inflammation, and bone health portfolios
• Oversee design of patient and healthcare provider journeys and translate journey requirements into service model specifications
• Establish governance structures, intake processes, and performance metrics to prioritize portfolio requests and measure impact

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 6 years of marketing experience
• Master's degree and 10 years of marketing experience
• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of marketing experience
• 6 years of direct managerial experience leading people or teams
• Enterprise-level strategic thinking and cross-functional partnership skills
• Experience translating customer insights into measurable improvements
• Knowledge of patient access, reimbursement, or healthcare operations
