Registered Nurse Ambulatory Surgery Center

Location: Ballantyne, NC

Schedule: Full-Time

Salary: $73,000$93,000 annually, based on experience

An outpatient surgery center in the Ballantyne area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its clinical team. This full-time position provides direct patient care, clinical triage, and procedural support while working closely with providers and clinical staff in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Responsibilities include:

• Assess patients, obtain medical histories and vital signs, and document accurately in the EHR
• Perform provider-ordered treatments and administer medications
• Start IVs, administer IV fluids, and monitor patient responses
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and care instructions
• Complete electronic orders, medication refills, forms, and prior authorizations
• Triage patient concerns and determine the appropriate level of care
• Respond to urgent clinical situations and participate in emergency procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with quality-assurance documentation
• Support Medical Assistants and other clinical staff to maintain efficient patient flow
• Collaborate with providers and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care

Qualifications include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Active North Carolina RN license
• Current American Heart Association BLS or client-approved BLS certification
• ACLS certification, if required
• Minimum of 1 year of professional RN experience
• Outpatient, procedural, ambulatory surgery, or similar clinical experience preferred
• IV insertion experience preferred
• EHR experience
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and patient-service skills

Additional Requirements Candidates must meet required health and compliance requirements, including TB screening and vaccination documentation or applicable declination forms. Must be able to lift or support up to 35 pounds.

Compensation: $73,000$93,000 per year, based on experience.
