Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires flexibility in working hours and shifts to support departmental needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Janesville, WI
• Schedule: Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM; call rotation required; 8 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography program; ARRT Radiography registration; ARRT MRI registration; approved BLS certification; no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an MRI Technologist; ability to perform procedures under physician order, prepare patients, and operate MRI systems and associated equipment; ability to perform venipuncture, administer contrast media, assist with interventional procedures, and evaluate image quality
• Additional Information: Performs procedures under the order of licensed medical practitioners, prepares patients, and provides instruction to minimize anxiety. Applies safety principles and uses appropriate scripting, barriers, and identifiers. Assists with interventional procedures, practices aseptic technique, and maintains records using radiology information systems including PACS. Assumes responsibility for patient well-being during procedures and initiates basic life support when necessary.
