Job Overview
We are hiring school-based Occupational Therapists for a school-based positions near Hollister, CA for the upcoming school year 2026-27. These positions start in July/ August 2026.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals of all ages regain independence and improve their quality of life through specialized therapy techniques.
Duties
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve clients' ability to perform daily activities (ADLs)
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans
- Offer early intervention services for pediatric patients
- Provide occupational therapy in various settings including hospitals, clinics, schools, and homes
- Utilize speech therapy techniques when necessary
- Manage cases effectively to track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Certification and state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred
- Familiarity with ICU and occupational health settings
- Strong understanding of care plans and case management
- Ability to provide home health services with compassion and professionalism
