About Balance Health Balance Health is the nation’s premier comprehensive lower-extremity focused Physician Practice. At our Washington Integrative Foot and Ankle Center brand, we are committed to providing the highest-quality podiatric care to the greater Seattle community. As a cross trained Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the medical office. You will be cross-trained to assist both in clinical tasks and at the front desk, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical and administrative support, assisting with patient care management, and facilitating effective communication between patients and providers. The goal is to deliver high-quality service, complete all tasks accurately, and maintain timely, organized operations. This role will primarily work at our Kirkland location. Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services Check with patients and type up patient charts Assist during medical examinations Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Requirements Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software Degree in medical assistance Medical & Dental insurance 401k with match Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Employee Assistance Program Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Medical Specialties: Podiatry Surgery Education and Experience Certification from an approved medical assistant program preferred, or equivalent combination of training High School Diploma or Equivalent Current American Heart Association CPR Certification preferred Willing to register with Washington state EMR Experience Benefits Of Working With Balance Health Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans HSA with Employer Contribution FSA Generous PTO Program 401k with a 4% Match Employee Assistance Program Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability To find out more, visit Salary Description $23.00 - $26.00 hrly #J-18808-Ljbffr Weil Foot & Ankle Institute
