Warehouse Team Lead - Receiving (MON - FRI)

About The Role The Receiving Team Lead will directly interact with the receiving department team. The role ensures compliance with procedures, communicates goals and safety practices, and provides ongoing guidance and support to the employees as they complete their action plans. The Receiving Lead also supports the Receiving Supervisor. Compensation & Schedule $21.89 per hour, Monday - Friday (10am - 6:30pm), Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt. What You Will Do Use a tablet and scanner to perform the job. Receive goods based on the packing list. Safely operate all warehouse equipment. Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude. Maintain a safe and clean warehouse. Follow directions of supervisors and managers. Help reconcile and deliver discrepancies. Monitor receiving progress and process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provide assistance and guidance to the receiving team. Perform regular safety walks. Assess the root cause of receiving issues and help devise a plan of action for preventing similar future problems. Participate in process improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For High School Diploma. Must be in good standing with the company. Ability to read and understand pick tickets and labels written in English. Ability to use electronic devices. Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers quickly and accurately. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently without close supervision. Ability to prioritize assignments to meet cut‑off times. Able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Ability to learn or be trained on using power equipment such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser, Pallet Jack, Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, etc. Willing to perform other duties as required. Able to work overtime if required. Protective Equipment Required The role requires wearing proper safety equipment such as safety toe shoes, bump caps, and safety vests. PPE is company‑provided, with a $100 stipend for safety‑toe shoes after 90 days of employment if required. Please check with your HR/Training team for details on whether your role requires specific PPE. Physical Demands Stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling of items up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand‑eye coordination, near vision, far vision and hearing are required for the operation of warehouse machinery. Working Environment Warehouse environment, conditions can range from warm to cool. Moderate noise level due to warehouse machines and equipment.
