Client Service Associate @ Private Wealth Firm (New York City Metropolitan Area)

Coda Search has partnered with a respected private wealth management firm overseeing $10 billion in assets. The team is looking to bring on a Client Service Associate with experience in equities and fixed income who will take ownership of client reporting, client service, portfolio administration, and onboarding for the firm’s high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a principal contact for client questions, delivering prompt, accurate, and professional responses.
• Manage the onboarding of new clients, including account opening documentation, AML/KYC requirements, and custodial paperwork.
• Produce and circulate quarterly and ad hoc client performance reports, account statements, and portfolio summaries.
• Administer client portfolios across equities and fixed income, including processing trades, rebalancing requests, and cash movements.
• Track portfolio holdings, corporate actions, bond maturities, and income payments to confirm that client accounts are accurately maintained.
• Coordinate with custodians, portfolio managers, and operations teams to resolve account discrepancies and service issues.
• Keep client records current and accurate in the firm’s CRM and portfolio management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of experience in client service, portfolio administration, or operations within private wealth management, asset management, or a related financial services setting.
• Working knowledge of equities and fixed income securities, including trade processing and portfolio reporting.
• Familiarity with major custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, or Pershing) and portfolio reporting systems preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a polished, client-focused approach.
