Job Summary and Responsibilities As our PACU Nurse at CHI St. Vincent North, you’ll apply your nursing knowledge and skills in the recovery room and beyond. Most patients never realize the part you played in getting them through one of their most vulnerable moments. Honoring your commitment to care for others is thanks enough. Our leadership is visible and the hospital is expanding its services. Call is required and is based on shift and patient volume. Key Responsibilities Apply cultural sensitivity to all patients, caregivers, and teams. Develop and implement a nursing care plan for PACU patients. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure rooms are prepped with necessary equipment and supplies. Demonstrate kindness and compassion. Qualifications Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire. 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting. Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 days. Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 12 months.
