Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to provide urgent care services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role requires clinical expertise, quick decision-making, and adherence to facility protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Render immediate and comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with acute conditions.
• Assess patient needs by performing thorough triage, vital sign measurements, and clinical evaluations.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and infection control standards during patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or a compact state nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, full-time ER nursing experience.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC, all active and in hand.
• Provide one recent reference from a manager, supervisor, ANM, or director within the past 12 months in the specialty.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and pass the safeMedicate assessment with the required scores.
• Successfully complete BG drug screening and background checks, including BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing contract.
