Director of Nursing – Birmingham, AL

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a nursing team across all shifts, building a culture of accountability and genuine care

• Guide care planning and clinical practice that puts residents’ dignity and wellbeing first

• Keep the facility survey-ready and compliant

• Partner closely with the Administrator and department heads as a true leadership team

• Recruit, train, and grow nurses who want to do meaningful work

• Be a steady, trusted presence for residents, families, and staff alike

What You Bring:

• Active RN license in Alabama

• 2-3+ years of nursing leadership experience, LTC/SNF strongly preferred

• Deep knowledge of long-term care regulations

• A leadership style rooted in respect, consistency, and heart

• The ability to stay calm and clear-headed when things get hard, because in this work, they will
