Lead the Fun at FunCity Walpole: Manager Position Available!

What You’ll Do

As the Manager at FunCity Walpole, you’ll play a central role in ensuring our facility operates smoothly, safely, and profitably. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll work alongside your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Here’s a closer look at your responsibilities:

Staff Leadership & Management

• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise employees to build a strong, motivated team.
• Lead by example, maintaining a professional and positive work environment.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
• Conduct staff meetings, provide ongoing training, and recognize outstanding performance.

Daily Operations

• Oversee all aspects of daily operations, from opening to closing.
• Monitor attractions, parties, arcade activities, and guest interactions to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs as needed.

Guest Experience & Customer Service

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming environment for families and groups.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and service recovery situations with professionalism.
• Ensure employees provide friendly and helpful service at all times.

Safety & Risk Management

• Prioritize guest and employee safety by enforcing attraction rules and conducting regular inspections.
• Train employees on safety procedures and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and regulatory safety requirements.

Birthday Parties & Group Events

• Oversee the planning and execution of birthday parties, school groups, and other events.
• Ensure party rooms are prepared and schedules are followed to create seamless experiences.
• Communicate with customers to accommodate special requests and resolve concerns.

Cash Handling & Business Operations

• Manage daily cash handling, register procedures, and sales monitoring.
• Help control labor and operating costs while identifying opportunities to improve revenue.
• Maintain accurate records and complete daily operational reports.

Facility Standards

• Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Address spills, damage, or hazards promptly and coordinate with staff or vendors as needed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a hands-on leader who can inspire a team and create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for our guests. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience .
• Background in entertainment, recreation, hospitality, retail, food service, or customer service is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Physical ability to remain active throughout the day, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
