Production Operator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other Duties As Assigned) Production Operations Operate various types of process machinery, including robots, presses, and bonders. Cross-train as needed Perform basic start‑up and shut‑down procedures, as well as process checks throughout Use various types of hand tools, including routers, sanders, drills, etc. Effectively troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to management Ensure all equipment and tools are stored and maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and minimize unnecessary downtime Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable Provide input and ensure completion of set production goals, as set forth by Management Effectively interpret production schedule and communicate any issues to management Maintain compliance Abide by safe work standards, company safety practices, and OSHA regulations Support plant safety initiative, maintain safety protocols throughout the production area Contribute to ongoing plant improvements, as needed Abide by all corporate and plant company policies and initiatives Work with Quality/Engineering Team to address any production issues Maintain clean work areas, practice good housekeeping, and support plant-wide 5S initiative Adhere to the company attendance policy Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the incumbent for this job.
