MLR is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team. The Radiation Therapist will work closely with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality radiation treatments to patients, providing both technical expertise and emotional support. Radiation Therapist Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid state Radiation Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one

Radiation Therapist Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments using specialized equipment, ensuring precise delivery and patient safety.
• Interpret and verify treatment plans provided by radiation oncologists, making necessary adjustments to equipment settings and patient positioning.
• Perform daily quality control and safety checks on radiation equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Document and report treatment information, including dosages and any side effects, into patient records accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to modify and optimize treatment plans based on patient progress and treatment response.
