ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

Mier Law PLLC is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our growing commercial real estate practice in Dallas. POSITION OVERVIEW The ideal candidate will have at least four years of highly relevant transactional real estate experience, with a particular focus on acquisitions, development, finance, and loan documentation. The strongest candidates for this position will have successful experience in the real estate practice group of a large law firm, at a real estate boutique, or in an in‑house real estate legal department. Responsibilities may include: Handling acquisitions and dispositions involving various property types, including the documentation of relevant agreements and development matters Preparing and negotiating loan documentation and handling real estate finance matters Reviewing and resolving title, survey, and other due‑diligence matters, including working with and managing the firm’s paralegal Advising clients regarding entity formation and related corporate matters Taking primary responsibility for managing transactions from initial documentation through closing Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, title companies, and other transaction participants Developing practical, business‑minded solutions that advance clients’ goals QUALIFICATIONS Four or more years of relevant transactional commercial real estate experience Significant experience with real estate acquisitions, development, and finance J.D. from an accredited law school Strong academic credentials preferred Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Careful attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines A practical, solutions‑oriented approach to legal work Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Commitment to exceptional client service, integrity, and professional excellence WHY JOIN MIER LAW?
