Family Medicine RN / MA - Outpatient Clinic

Position Details

• Location: 7878 North 76th St., Milwaukee, WI
• Setting: Ambulatory / Outpatient Clinic
• Schedule: Monday - Friday | Between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-Call: None
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• 1-Year Experience Candidates: Accepted

Patient Population

• Family Medicine patients
• Chronic condition management including:
• Diabetes (DM)
• Hypertension (HTN)
• General outpatient primary care needs

RN Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care
• Assist providers with triage and nursing in-baskets
• Complete physician-directed clinical tasks

MA Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs
• Administer injections and vaccines
• Support daily clinic workflow

Patient Volume

• Approximately 160 patients daily across 4 providers

Required Certifications

RN:

• BLS
• ACLS

MA:

• BLS

Preferred Skills

• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Family Medicine clinic experience preferred

Support Structure

• 3 Patient Service Representatives supporting registration
• Onsite nursing support
• Phlebotomy services provided by ACL
• Team-oriented, family-like culture

Technology & Equipment

• EMR: Epic
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Medication dispensing:
• Onsite pharmacy
• Badge-access medication cabinets for injections

Floating

• No floating required

Orientation

• Orientation with onsite RN staff
• Duration:
• Approximately 2-4 weeks
• Based on candidate comfort level
