This position will manage all phases of project delivery, ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of a complex marine infrastructure project that supports the reliability of Client's transmission system.

\n

The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of electrical power transmission systems, experience managing large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or Design-Build projects, and expertise in environmental permitting and marine construction activities.

\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead the overall execution of a major undersea electrical transmission cable replacement project from concept through commissioning.
\n
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and performance metrics.
\n
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, environmental, regulatory, and stakeholder activities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
\n
• Manage EPC and/or Design-Build contractors, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
\n
• Oversee project scope, cost, quality, schedule, safety, and risk management activities.
\n
• Support the development, review, and implementation of marine construction work plans involving seabed asset installation, removal, and replacement.
\n
• Coordinate marine operations, vessel activities, and contractor mobilization efforts.
\n
• Facilitate permitting efforts and regulatory compliance with federal, state, local, and environmental agencies.
\n
• Manage project communications with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, contractors, and executive leadership.
\n
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, construction methods, and contract requirements.
\n
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts to project delivery.
\n
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and executive updates.
\n
• Ensure compliance with Client safety standards, applicable regulations, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

\n

Education

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
\n
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
\n

\n

Experience

\n

\n
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressively responsible project management experience.
\n
• Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure, utility, energy, or marine construction projects.
\n
• Experience with electrical power transmission systems and utility infrastructure.
\n
• Experience delivering projects through EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and/or Design-Build delivery models.
\n
• Experience managing environmental and regulatory permitting processes.
\n
• Experience developing, reviewing, or managing marine work plans involving the installation, removal, or replacement of assets on the seabed.
\n
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certification.
\n
• Experience with submarine or undersea power transmission cable projects.
\n
• Familiarity with marine surveying, seabed investigations, cable installation methods, and marine risk management.
\n
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations applicable to marine infrastructure projects.
\n
• Experience working within electric utility organizations.
