Janitor / Warehouse & Yard Helper

Job Description

Aver Sign Company is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Janitor / Warehouse & Yard Helper to support our daily operations. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility while assisting with warehouse and yard responsibilities as needed.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable performing a variety of physical tasks both indoors and outdoors. This is a hands-on position that helps ensure our facility, warehouse, and yard remain organized and operational.

Janitorial Duties

Clean and maintain office areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust throughout the facility
Empty trash and recycling containers
Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
Help maintain a safe and clean working environment

Warehouse Support

Organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas
Assist with receiving and stocking materials
Help prepare materials for production and installation teams
Move materials and supplies as needed
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

Yard Support

Keep outdoor yard and storage areas clean and organized
Assist with loading and unloading materials
Remove debris and maintain safe outdoor work areas
Support facility maintenance projects as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous janitorial, warehouse, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Flexible schedule based on company needs
