Manager of BD Strategy, Litigation

We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Manager of Business Development Strategy to join the Strategy & Marketing Team. This individual will support the continued growth and success of our Litigation Business Unit and play a key role in the development and execution of strategic business development and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities Plan, support, and implement a broad array of business development activities to expand Pillsbury’s business and reputation. Work with the Director of Business Development Strategy and colleagues across the platform. Advise lawyers on effective client pitch strategies. Conduct research and analysis. Create compelling proposals and pitch materials. Manage strategic events. Complete lawyer directory submissions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. Minimum of five years of relevant experience in professional services or law firm business development. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Team player, collegial, collaborative attributes. Self-starter who thrives on juggling numerous high-visibility projects on fast timetables and can handle high-pressure environments. Strong to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and some knowledge of applications specific to the legal field. Location: Washington DC office.
