CNC Maintenance Technician

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tools according to safety, predictive and preventive maintenance schedules, and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Install and maintain production equipment: CNC and manual machine tools. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment for a safe and productive work environment. Provide sound technical support to ensure production equipment is in a constant state of readiness. Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) to maintain safety and increase up-time of equipment. Determine spare parts requirements and make recommendations for equipment. Work on process support equipment improvement projects. Comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC`s repairs. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance functions. Document all corrective and preventive maintenance performed utilizing a pc based tracking system/software. Participate and contribute in a team environment by working with all levels of employees. Generate new and innovative approaches to problems Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining and servicing CNC and manual machine tools High School Diploma/GED Certification or college degree in maintenance technology with focus on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC repairs a plus Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs for production equipment Experience with OSHA regulations, including but not limited to lock out/tag out and machine guarding Experience operating forklift trucks Basic computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr
