Join our team as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) / Student Nurse and build clinical skills while working alongside experienced Registered Nurses and healthcare professionals . In this role, the PCT/Student Nurse assists licensed nursing personnel in providing direct patient care in accordance with the philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Services Department , as well as hospital policies and regulatory guidelines . This position is ideal for nursing students seeking real-world experience in a hospital or acute care environment . Key Responsibilities As a Hospital Patient Care Technician / Student Nurse , you will support the nursing team with essential direct patient care responsibilities , including:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic care needs
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Supporting nurses with routine patient care tasks
• Observing patients and communicating changes to licensed nursing staff
• Maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment
• Providing compassionate customer service to patients and families
• Documenting patient information using electronic medical record systems

Your work helps ensure patients receive attentive and supportive care during their hospital stay. Minimum Qualifications Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be currently enrolled in a professional nursing educational program

Experience

• Completion of at least one medical-surgical clinical rotation required
• Acute care or hospital experience preferred

Licensure & Certification

• BLS Certification - Healthcare Provider required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
