APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in  Detroit, MI looking to add  Bottle Packager s to their already amazing team.  Their primary responsibility will be to operate the packaging line, check product quality, pack and label products, and prepare them for shipping.  Keep reading for more details!

  What  your day will look like:

• Safely load, orient, and feed empty glass bottles and aluminum cans onto conveyor systems. Pack finished products into designated cardboard cases or bulk storage containers while maintaining efficiency and product integrity.
• Inspect bottles and cans for proper fill levels, secure screw or cork closures, and properly applied labels. Monitor PVC capsule covers for defects or deformities and promptly remove damaged or non-conforming products from the production line.
• Verify that all finished cases are accurately labeled with required retail or distributor barcodes, batch timestamps, and applicable state compliance markings.
• Secure completed cases using hand tools, tape dispensers, or automated strapping equipment. Properly stack cases on pallets using stable, organized patterns and securely shrink-wrap completed pallets for safe transportation and storage.
• Clean and sanitize packaging stations, conveyors, equipment, and tools at the beginning and end of each shift. Follow all facility safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) when handling alcoholic beverages.

What we are looking for:

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, beverage bottling, assembly, food production, or similar manufacturing environment is generally preferred.
• Ability to stand and remain active for entire shift and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify minor product defects, including compromised seals, damaged closures, or misaligned labels.
