Software Developer

Fully remote position with an estimated work week of 35 hours.

Great communication skills and lots of client interaction are required.

Key skills include:

• Senior software developer with experience in designing and developing enterprise-wide web applications
• Highly proficient in.NET Core, MS SQL relational databases, Angular, ASP.NET, and TSQL
• Ability to design, develop, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications
• Highly self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and sustain key customer relationships

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in the full life cycle of development activities - define, develop, test, install, document, and maintain
• Maintaining a source control and inventory system to ensure proper version control
• Creating and maintaining documentation, including data models, data dictionaries, stored procedures, functional and technical design documents, acceptance test plans, and production release schedules
• Ability to translate system requirements into technical specifications, processes, and data mapping for existing system and system modifications
• Evaluating the feasibility of enhancements requested by the user community
• Responding to upgrades needed to comply with new regulations
• Supporting activities and tickets with an internal Help Desk team that provides phone support to end users
• Following systems engineering, development, and deployment best practices
• Providing status updates on work assignments and any technical issues that present risk to project timeline as required by selected project framework

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or MIS, or equivalent experience
• 5-10+ years of web application development using ASP.NET (C#, Web APIs, Entity Framework, MVC/Razor/Web pages)
• 5-10+ years of specific development experience with Microsoft.NET, .NET Core, XML, HTML, JavaScript
• 5-10+ years of TSQL (including complex queries, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers) experience in designing database solutions for web applications
• 5-10+ years of experience building, deploying, and managing application delivery using Azure DevOps
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS and other reporting services preferred
• 2+ years AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap preferred

Position is based on customer work week of 35hrs/week.
