Your Role Perform electrical power design for a variety of projects including hospitals, laboratories, high‑rise residential, hotel, office, and other commercial and institutional projects. Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software. Perform service load calculations and short‑circuit studies. Meet project schedules and perform work within budgetary constraints. Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss current or future projects. Review submittals and provide responses to requests for information. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. 5–10 years of experience in designing building power systems for high‑rise residential, hotel, and office buildings, as well as other commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit software. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent technical, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment. PE registration highly preferred, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E.
