Position Details Cell Therapy Specialist I Location: Frederick, MD (Onsite) Contract Duration: 12 months (possible extension) Pay Rate: $30.00‑$32.00/hr on W2 Work Authorization: USC or GC required Responsibilities Complete the initial 8‑10 week onboarding and manufacturing technical training, then be deployed onto shift as needed. Perform or verify all tasks associated with the manufacture of commercial product following batch records and SOPs to ensure safe and compliant operations. Work as part of a GMP run team in collaboration with Materials Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance. Troubleshoot processing and equipment issues and communicate issues to management. Maintain required technical skills through training assignments to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements. Author or revise SOPs that are technically sound and aligned with cGMP requirements. Routinely monitor, clean, prepare, and operate sophisticated automated cell processing, expansion, and filling equipment in Grade B/C clean rooms. Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance while assisting with investigations, deviations, and change controls. Wear a respirator when using certain cleaning chemicals. After training, per company policy, will be considered essential and work during company holidays and shutdowns as required. During training, observe the designated holiday schedule. Shift Times (examples) Day Shift: 6:00 am–4:30 pm (Sun‑Wed, Wed‑Sat, Thurs‑Sun) Swing Shift 1: 3:00 pm–1:30 am (Sun‑Wed, Wed‑Sat, Thurs‑Sun) Swing Shift 2: 5:00 pm–3:30 am (Sun‑Wed, Wed‑Sat, Thurs‑Sun) Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field. Associate’s degree in a life sciences field with 1+ years of biotech experience, or High school diploma with 2+ years of cGMP experience.
