The Chisago Lakes School District is located approximately 35 miles NE of downtown Minneapolis/Saint Paul. The District unites five historical communities with a tradition of excellence. The District serves approximately 3400 students (PreK-12) and their families.

The Paraprofessional - Academic and Behavior Support provides assistance and intervention for students exhibiting academic and behavioral risk factors, ensuring they can take full advantage of the instructional program and specialized resources. This role involves providing targeted academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support, managing and analyzing student data, implementing formal support plans (IEPs, BSPs, 504s), and building mentoring relationships to promote student success and engagement.

The Paraprofessional - Behavioral Support Special Education staff provides specialized, high-level behavioral intervention and administrative coordination within specialized special education programs (including Federal Setting IV environments). This role is part of a specialized tier of paraprofessionals responsible for implementing intensive behavioral protocols for students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs, while also providing program-level support including data management, staffing assistance, and compliance reporting.

The Paraprofessional - Classroom Support position provides essential assistance to certified teaching staff, administration, and students across various grade levels and educational settings. The primary goal is to provide the necessary support for students to have a rewarding educational experience and to maintain a safe, positive school and learning environment. This role focuses on direct instructional support, student supervision, and general classroom operational assistance.
