Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available in Ogdensburg, NY, seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional patient care. This role is available on both interim and permanent bases, providing flexibility for candidates interested in contract or full-time positions.

Location:

• Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
• Manage all pharmacy operations, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management promoting financial viability.
• Lead business development efforts within the store and local community.
• Supervise and evaluate pharmacy support personnel, providing training and accountability.
• Oversee all pharmacy associates’ completion of required company training.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Provide counseling to patients and medical providers on drug usage, interactions, and side effects, monitoring patient progress for optimal therapy compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and pharmacy environment compliant with legal and company standards.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement programs ensuring patient safety.
• Complete required continuing education programs as mandated by state law.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
