You will bring structured‑literacy expertise to design real‑time, small‑group workshops and motivation sessions that drive measurable progress on our AI metrics. What You Will Be Doing Creating small‑group K‑3 reading workshops based on live adaptive‑app data, rooted in structured‑literacy approaches (Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, IMSE, or equivalent) Leading daily motivation sessions to ensure 100% of students meet weekly app goals through Alpha’s motivational system (school currency, leaderboards, age‑appropriate gamification) Analyzing AI‑generated performance metrics to modify instruction in real time, not only during planning periods Conducting running records, fluency probes, and decoding assessments to generate growth visible in weekly campus data meetings Serving as the engaging, dynamic adult your K‑3 students eagerly anticipate seeing each day What You Won't Be Doing Implementing a published reading curriculum, scripted lesson plan, or district pacing calendar; you create lessons directly from student data Delivering whole‑class lectures; all teaching occurs in small, targeted groups while students work through academic subjects on adaptive apps Serving as a reading consultant, instructional coach, or district‑level specialist; you work in the classroom with children daily Managing a conventional classroom schedule: subject‑by‑subject lectures, homework correction, test preparation. Your time is allocated to workshops, motivation sessions, and data‑informed small groups Developing IEPs, 504 plans, or formal diagnostic documentation; student progress is tracked through app data and your running records, not special‑education forms Key Responsibilities Deliver quantifiable K‑3 reading improvement across phonics, fluency, and comprehension within a campus culture where outcomes are assessed weekly. Basic Requirements Structured‑literacy certification (Orton‑Gillingham, LETRS, Wilson Reading System, IMSE, CERI, Neuhaus, UFLI, or equivalent) OR a Master's degree in reading instruction Bachelor's degree in any discipline, plus 2+ years of full‑time K‑3 structured reading instruction within the past 5 years Proven capacity to design original reading lessons and clearly explain instructional content and methods, independent of published programs Availability to work on‑site full‑time at one Alpha campus (locations listed above).
