We are adding a Buyer to our team located in Mason City, Iowa. This is an onsite role that will report to the Supply Chain Manager.Come see who we are at: would you do as our Buyer?**You will develop expertise in procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and manufacturing operations while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced production environment. You will also ensure materials and supplies are available to support daily manufacturing operations.**You would also:*** Create and manage purchase orders for assigned materials and suppliers.* Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and material availability.* Monitor open orders and communicate potential supply concerns.* Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information within ERP systems.* Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts and replenishment processes.* Assist in the analysis of supplier performance and procurement metrics.* Collaborate with operations, engineering, production planning, and other business functions.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.* Learn procurement best practices, sourcing processes, and supplier management techniques**The Skills and Experience you need:*** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.* 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, operations, or related business functions.* Experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications.* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.* Desire to learn, grow, and build a career within a procurement organization.**What we offer!** We believe in creating opportunities and providing benefits that empower you to grow, thrive, and build a rewarding lifelong career with us.
