Laboratory Supervisor, Histology

The Histology Supervisor oversees the technical, operational, and administrative functions of the histology laboratory to ensure accurate, high-quality testing and timely reporting of clinical results. This role leads daily laboratory operations, maintains quality and regulatory compliance standards, and supports operational excellence through effective workflow coordination and inventory management. The Histology Supervisor also provides leadership for laboratory staff through scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management while helping drive continuous quality improvement and exceptional patient care. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Histology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a chemical, physical, or biological science. 5–7 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, including histology and anatomic pathology. Demonstrated supervisory or management experience. Licenses and Certifications HT or HTL (ASCP) certification preferred. ASCP certification required, or equivalent certification acceptable with extensive histology experience.
