Job Description Job Description What You'll Do Set up, program, and operate Danobat and Studer CNC ID cylindrical grinders to achieve exacting tolerances and surface finishes. Knowledge of Overbeck and Heald manual grinders a Plus. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine grinding requirements. Select and dress grinding wheels for optimal performance and finish quality. Measure and inspect parts using bore gauges and other precision instruments. Troubleshoot and adjust setups to maintain accuracy throughout production runs. Collaborate with machinists, quality inspectors, and engineers to resolve technical challenges. Maintain equipment in peak condition through routine cleaning and preventive maintenance. What You'll Bring Proven experience operating CNC ID cylindrical grinders in a precision manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to work with tight tolerances (±0.0002") and fine surface finishes. Skilled in using precision measuring tools and interpreting technical drawings. A meticulous, detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to quality.
